Fortnite Season 4 is Here & Players are Excited

Epic Games has finally released the 4th season of the worldwide battle royale multiplayer smash hit, Fortnite, and it has a lot of stuff for the fans. The latest Battle Pass will include new items, new dances, new menu, new skins, new areas to explore and new elevations in the map tailored to change the way players have gone through for the past 3 seasons. And yes, finally, the meteor has landed and left a large crater by the middle of the map. Sorry folks, Tilted Towers isn’t going anywhere… at least for now.

Oh and, not to mention, you can finally spray on walls now. Save the World is also getting a ton of new features including new heroes and a new loot system. Let’s go over with the latest features:

  • Sprays
    • If you’ve played Counter-Strike, Team Fortress 2 or Overwatch, this is nothing different. But hey, Fortnite is finally getting its own set of sprays. Best for showing your authority on your high DIY tower.
  • Hop Rocks
    • You may have wondered why there were a bunch astronaut skins during the previous season. Alas, they finally have a real purpose rather than just looking as ridiculous as those players with the Easter bunny costumes. Hop Rocks are new resources to gather in the newest area of the map called Dusty Divot, which is located between Tilted Towers and Retail Row, just above Salty Springs. Collect these and expect some fun anti-gravity gameplay whenever you jump. Who needs pre-set mutators when you can just collect them on the spot?
  • New Skins
    • There are 7 new awesome skins in total:
      • Omega— “There can only be one. Part of the Omega set”
      • Carbide— “Heed the call to action. Part of the Carbide set”
      • Battlehawk— “Swoop in and claim victory. Part of the Advanced Forces set”
      • Teknique— “Spray up a storm. Part of the Aerosol Assassins set”
      • Zoey— “Candy-coated chaos. Part of the Sweet Tooth set”
      • Valor— “A beacon of hope. Part of the Valiant set”
    • Also included are new cosmetics for the pickaxe and glider, specially tailored for Zoey and Valor:
      • Gale Force— “Rise above the storm. Part of the Valiant set”
      • Sugar Crash—“Don’t crash! Part of the Sweet Tooth set”
    • New Emotes
      • Orange Justice – Yes, Epic Games actually did it. The kid who got memed so hard from the #boogiedownchallenge has become the latest dance emote for the game
      • Popcorn – Basically just throwing popcorn on the player’s face, pretending to eat. Great for when other players are trying to kill each other and you’re just there watching.
      • Respect – “For worthy combatants.” Simply put it, kung-fu style respect.
      • Hype – It’s that dance reference based on Rory Purdy’s choreo—the kid that is well-known in social media especially on Instagram. Same dude that got the running man challenge into orbit back in 2016.
      • Groove Jam – Napoleon Dynamite dance reference. This is personally my most sought-out emote in the game since I love Napoleon Dynamite. Who doesn’t love Napoleon Dynamite?
    • Brand new weekly challenges
      • Following the treasure map in Tomato Town.
        • Hint: You can easily spot it under the letter E in the location title Loot Lake in your map. You’ll find a wreckage of a boat there. Just don’t be surprised if there will be other players scrounging in that area.
      • Collecting the F-O-R-T-N-I-T-E letters scattered across the map.
        • Hint: Here are the locations, thanks to Reddit users u/strantjanet and u/thesquatingdog. Source: https://www.gamespot.com/articles/fortnite-season-4-challenges-where-are-the-fortnit/1100-6458641/
