Another day, another Battle Royale game in a lineup of seemingly endless titles within the genre. The newest multiplayer survival game, Radical Heights by Bosskey Productions, may seem like the usual BR game just like what we’ve seen nowadays in a pool filled with developers thinking of a righteous way on how to dethrone the big names — Fortnite and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds and get a high statistics of daily player activity for their multiplayer game with an oversaturated concept. Paladins Now Competing in Battle Royale Genre – A Top Twitch Game?

Hi-Rez Studios, the team that brought you the unique MOBA game, Smite: Battleground of the Gods, and the hero-based shooter, Paladins: Champions of the Realm, announced that the upcoming spin-off of their FPS shooter has finally arrived in closed alpha on April 10, 2018.

The game is promised to be a “new kind of battle royale” according to the studio, mixing up formulas from MOBAs and RPGs. Paladins Realm Royale (formerly Paladins Battlegrounds) is a 100-player survival game where competing champions are scattered throughout a quite large map with some interesting terrain, which varies from plain green fields and dusty deserts to snowy mountains. The game also features a “Forging system” wherein players have the ability to craft Legendary weapons or utilities from gathered Shards—the main currency/resource of the game mode. Players then need to accumulate a couple of minutes for the crafting while trying to survive against their live enemies. The Newest Free-To-Play Battle Royale Game from the Team Behind LawBreakers

And the next highly anticipated game of this season is… well, another battle royale game. Yes yes, the battle royale genre is honestly getting a bit too out of hand now lately with numerous upcoming titles under the same mechanics but with different skins and themes. This time, it’s coming from Boss Key Productions. Ring a bell?
